About Ac-SDKP (TB fragment 1-4)

Ac-SDKP is a natural tetrapeptide cut from the N-terminus of thymosin beta-4. It is studied as an anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory signal in the heart and kidney. ACE inhibitor drugs raise its blood levels several-fold, which may explain part of their organ-protective effect.

Ac-SDKP (TB fragment 1-4) calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg Ac-SDKP (TB fragment 1-4) vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does Ac-SDKP (TB fragment 1-4) have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.

Where can I read the research on Ac-SDKP (TB fragment 1-4)?
