About Sermorelin

Sermorelin is the active 29-amino-acid fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. It was FDA-approved as Geref for children with growth hormone deficiency until the manufacturer withdrew it in 2008. It raises the pituitary’s own growth hormone release, so normal feedback limits still apply.

Sermorelin calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg Sermorelin vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does Sermorelin have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
