About Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin is a five-residue ghrelin-receptor agonist described in 1998 as the first selective growth hormone secretagogue. In animals it released GH without the rise in cortisol and prolactin seen with earlier GHRPs. In people, a phase 2 trial for bowel recovery after surgery did not show a benefit.

Ipamorelin calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 5 mg Ipamorelin vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 5 mg in 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does Ipamorelin have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 5 mg in 2 mL is 2.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
