About IGF-1 LR3

IGF-1 LR3 is an engineered form of insulin-like growth factor 1 that binds poorly to IGF-binding proteins, so more of it stays free to act on the IGF-1 receptor. It was designed for, and is mainly used in, cell culture, where it is several times more potent than native IGF-1.

IGF-1 LR3 calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 0.1 mg IGF-1 LR3 vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 0.1 mg in 2 mL gives 0.05 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 0.5 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does IGF-1 LR3 have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 0.1 mg in 2 mL is 0.05 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
