About Cartalax

Cartalax is a 3-residue peptide from the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, described by its developers as a bioregulator of the cartilage. Cartalax is reported by the group to influence markers of cartilage cell ageing in culture.

Cartalax calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 10 mg Cartalax vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 10 mg in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 50 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does Cartalax have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 10 mg in 2 mL is 5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.
