About ACE-031

ACE-031 is a decoy receptor that binds myostatin and related growth factors. It increased lean mass in healthy volunteers, but a trial in boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy was stopped because of nosebleeds, gum bleeding and dilated skin blood vessels.

ACE-031 calculator questions

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 1 mg ACE-031 vial?

The calculator does not prescribe a volume; the right choice depends on how large you want each draw to be. As arithmetic: 1 mg in 2 mL gives 0.5 mg/mL, so each unit on a U-100 syringe holds 5 mcg. Use the “Water to add” tab to work backwards from a draw size.

What concentration does ACE-031 have after reconstitution?

Concentration is the vial mass divided by the water volume. For example, 1 mg in 2 mL is 0.5 mg/mL. Check the certificate of analysis for net peptide content, which is usually lower than the label.

Where can I read the research on ACE-031?
